Hi John. It’s true that there are phones everywhere, but they may not be available to Shan. He may have access to a phone, but not necessarily the Internet. He did indicate that he was being transferred, which I take to mean that he wasn’t arrested. You have to remember that India is a different culture then the US and the freedoms we have are not necessarily the same for other countries.

In 2001 India police arrested a man for predicting another quake in Gujarat. Of course this was after they just had a great quake so needless to say his prediction started a panic. Take Care…Don in creepy town
