I'll need a lot more information, so try to answer these questions:

A. How long was it? counting 1001 and so forth
B. How loud was it? On a scale from 1-5 of which fractions are allowed.
C. What type of pitch was it? Low base, medium, medium high, very high?
Was it between 100hz - 3000 hz. Or could you describe it in other terms?
D. I need your latitude and longitude.

I'll do a little demonstration for you if you can provide the information and then you can guess where the earthquake might happen and assign your own magntiude. It's an interest process and I think you might like it.
