Re: Sensitives Article msnbc.com |
Thats just it, Cal. I never said they didn't exist. But the problem I have is when you and others make direct and specific claims that you can't back up with data. I believe in God. I have a tremendous faith in God, yet I do expect that others should believe in God because of MY claims. I believe there are tangible, intellectual things that point to God's existence and presence in our daily lives, yet I do not personally judge the scientist who has a hard time accepting that idea. I believe God will touch them as He sees fit. It falls on me only to share what I believe and why and let others respond as THEY see fit. If an intelligent person pursues me for an answer as to "why", I believe it is my RESPONSIBILITY to provide that answer. It is perfectly sound for you to say you believe in the idea of animal precognition or ear tones or whatever other pre-cursors you choose. But you can't make definitive statements, or criticize others for not believing what you believe. You can say "I believe this is so because...", thats a statement people can build on. But you shouldn't say "It IS so" without being able to prove why or how it is so.
