Hi Cal. I have no idea as to why you should feel sadden by my thinking the way I do. It’s not a question as to my being open or not. It’s a question as to whether animals can predict earthquakes or not. Maybe there are times they can, but how do I know when that time comes and the behavior isn’t related to something else? Neither of my two cats showed any unusual behavior before the Loma Prieta quake and I live 27 miles from the epicenter. Neither showed any unusual behavior before the Aug. 1998 M=5.4 quake and I live 6 miles from the epicenter of that quake. You say your animals never give you false signals. Does that mean you watch them 24 hours a day? Who watches them when you’re asleep? Who watches them when you go shopping? Who watches them when you’re not home for any reason? How do you know they haven’t acted strange when you’re not there? Take Care…Don in creepy town
