Hi All. This is not a prediction or anything of that nature. It’s more in the line of observations of past events and the results of such. A number of events near Parkfield in the past several days emphasize the forecast that a moderate event is possible in this region towards the end of August or in early September (probably requiring a strong geomagnetic storm as a trigger)

While at present time there is no indication of stress in the area, but it is known that stress can build in less then 24 hours for a moderate quake in the range of 3.5M-4.5M maybe a tad bit higher. The quake will most likely be in the area of Middle Mountain, which is located just to the north of Parkfield. The second area of choice is in Parkfield itself. Take Care…Don in creepy town.
