This is the second time I've tried to post tonight. I was pretty shocked to see the following quake:2.1 2000/08/21 17:23:15 34.695N 118.436W 83.9 6 km ( 4 mi) NW of Elizabeth Lake, CA The depth listed is 83.9 km and it is almost on top of the San Andreas! I did not believe that the crust was that thick in southern California. Anybody know or remember anything that deep around here? Beth
