I've done my research and I'm not going to restate it over and over again until you feel satisfied with what you want to hear. We have this question now which will probably lead to many others and so you will take up my time when as you said, you didn't read my web site. It isn't complete and today more will be added with the latest maps.

The directions to my method of ear tone use are there. You said you have ear tones and your friend logs them for you. Why not use the directions and map them. Then get a catalog for that period of time and see what you get. Then you will have done your homework and see if you are satisfied with your own results. How about that? I'm attaching the link for the latitude and longitude distance calculator and that's what I used for all but the last six months. Besides it will be fun for you try this out for yourself.

I almost forgot some people have their right ear as south & east and left ear as North and west. You may have the reverse order as some people do. Your research should show you which direction is correct for you.
