Don or Chris - Curious about Coso

This question is for Don or Chris or whomever knows -- what's the background on the Coso Junction area? Has that area ever gotten any large earthquakes? It always has some minor activity going on, even occasional 3s and 4s. What is it about that area that keeps it popping?

Just curious -- I've been on Hwy 395 many, many times, stopping at the Coso Junction rest area, kind of the gateway entrance to the eastern Sierra Nevadas which I love so dearly.
