Hi Roger. That is all well and good, but no one really knows that will happen. A licensed geologist can make an incorrect prediction just as well as a non-licensed geologist.

I suspect there are a lot of licensed geologists associated with the Parkfield project. Did any on them issue a prediction? Did any of them see anything that indicated a quake was about to occur? Did anyone know I quake was going to occur? Petra knew. Maybe not the exact magnitude, but she knew the quake was going to be larger then any she had heard for that area previously.
