Cathryn,
Excuse the triple response. The comments are posting. Anyhow, "The Man Who Predicts Earthquakes," did find a home with a traditional publisher. That is why I am getting major bookstore signings. It is not common for all authors to be sent on book tours. Things have changed a bit since 1966. Actually, things have changing in the publishing world in the past several years. It is more about marketing a book than the topic or how well written the book is. But what do I know? I'm just a veteran journalist/author trying to make a tsunami with a book that I believe is an important one. I would settle for a big splash.

P.S. Today, I did land a super radio spot for Berkland/me in MO--very large audience. The point? It takes drive to sell books.
