Well if its the stretch I think you are talking about that stretch last broke in 1857. It has a reoccurence of like 130 years. So it COULD be due. BUT me thinks it could stay locked for another 100 years so its tough to say. Now if you look at where Petra lives the Rogers Creek, OR the San Andreas down by Salton Sea where there is gap and the last rupture was well beyond historic times-it seems likely those are ripe for something.
