Cathryn...not my expertise...but I'm pretty sure there is some (or a lot) of doubt whether Mogi donuts work...John V. would know more about it. If there is anything to it, I don't see why the magnitude would be limited...
Michael..I posted on Boron quake on an earlier thread...just below. I looked at 2 focal mechanism solutions for this and both showed strike-slip...I don't know if a blast would make an automatic solution like that. I doubt that the first automatic hypocenter would be very good on depth out in the desert...so would not take the 0.1 lm too seriously. I guess if the quake disappears from the map and the list it was a blast..
