Thanks for the info, Don. I see the USGS pulled the quake from their lists, as well as the page for it. I thought that was a strange place for a quake. Looking at my sea floor topography data the continental shelf throughout that area is pockmarked like crazy. I was suspecting something like a gas burst or similar. But now that you mention a slump, yeah...those pockmarks look like they could be from slumps. BTW, this would be a good post for the newsgroup SGE.
