I have a pretty dim view of journalists and the media in general. In fact, the word 'general' serves nicely as to why they screw up so badly all the time. They are too generalized. Half the time when I watch the news I don't if I should be scared or laughing, the way some of them folks talk out of their Now, when a journalist specializes in a subject, they know better. They know the subject more so than the average bloke. Therefore they write quality stories, and "generally" don't make fools of themselves. So no, I don't expect journalists, "in general", to give a fair treatment of Jim Berkland, or of any other subject matter. When all that matters is ratings and hype, facts are among the first things thrown out the window. Brian
