Actually, fish are interesting. I have three "adopted" (abandoned) gold fish that grew from teenie-tinies to these enormous things. They seem to react when people are around. Mostly, they're interested in eating. So, they beg by collectively rubbing their noses against the glass of the tank.

I can't believe how stable this dinky 29 gallon tank has been. Some of these fish have lived for well over a year.
