Basically what I was trying to say is that the 2 year scenario that you are portraying doesn't hold true in *all* cases re: my two examples. I'm also under the impression that this 2 year scenario is more along the lines of one quake triggering the other quake (which was the case with Landers/Hector). In the case of Landers/Big Bear, both were giving off signals prior to their occurring. Big Bear wasn't triggered by Landers.
