I live in a little valley south of Carter Lake, near Berthoud CO. I never gave it much thought, but there is only 1 road out of here.

Last night some grass fires got started which would have blocked that road had the wind changed. You never saw so many cops and firefighters! Burned about 200 acres and a house or two but could have been much worse.
