Thanks Marc for the reminder on the contest, it totally slipped my mind. We have no winners. The first qualifying 5.0 or larger quake occurred on 1/4/06 at Santa Rosalia, Baja, Mexico. Had it occurred by 12/31 the winner would have been Steve in SF.

I'll try to think up something interesting and challening in the next few days.
