M6.7 Gulf of California, with foreshock |
There was a M6.7 half way up the Gulf of California, with a M4.4 foreshock 2 minutes before. They don't have the focal mechanism on that page yet, but from the size and location it is probably a right-lateral strike-slip earthquake. Wonder what comes next? Guess I better not guess after my Boron foreshock comment...I guess Canie says that quakes in this area can work their way north, or something like that...but I have not see evidence for that.
