on sci.geo.earthquakes is doing pretty well.

I've tested 660 of his windows and he's captured 86.77% of the 1277 quakes that could have fit.

But I can't compute any probabilities yet because he's using different windows all the time. I'll have to download the entire NEIC database and that will take awhile!
