Hi Petra and People,

Currently, I have 40 copies. I interviewed probably at least 100+ people, not just scientists. It's "Sophie's Choice" time. Plus, I have to contact media (that means send books) to let people know the book is available -- this is a big job. And yes, most authors are expected to do marketing. It's part of the publishing world.
On the upside, however, soon I will be getting more copies. (As you know, they aren't available online or in the bookstores just yet.) I also have to complete the second edition of a book that is due early Jan. Read: A bit overwhelmed and that in itself can cause a "pit of the stomach feeling"! So it is Christmas Eve and I have a lot on my plate; no cookies for or from Santa Claus. I will do the best that I can do. Meanwhile, I, Kerouac and Simon, my seismically sensitive animals wish you all a Merry Christmas.
