I'be talked to Ken in person and by email. He is one of the 2 official reviewers of my paper on the Santa Monica-Dume paper...while he would have like to see the paper shorter and maybe less detailed, he gave a positive review. The other reviewer was much more negative, although the other reviewer did provide suggestions to improve the paper...which I resubmitted in early November (somewhat shorter), and which is back in review. Meanwhile, someone asked me to be co-author on a paper that covers some of the same area...which I did...and that paper has already appeared in BSSA (Fisher et al.), and I guess it was the featured paper, with a press release in the last few days....but there was a serious typo in the Press Release, saying 35 km of slip when the paper said 3-5 km (3 to 5 km)...
I am about to provide long-overdue seafloor traces of the southern Hosgri fault, and WNW-ESE faults that terminate against it like the Honda fault, Santa Ynez River fault, Lion's Head fault...to the SCEC Community Fault Model....
