Petra, I'm not going...I'll save our limited grants the $ and me the time. I am co-author on about 5 abstracts though...one by Mike Fisher on faulting south of the northern Channel Islands, 3 on the results of the coring we did in August in Santa Barbara Channel...these are climate-related but we cored an anticline that is folding above the Oak Ridge fault, so the project is eventually earthquake-related also. The fifth is on basin subsidence of Ross Sea.
I'm going to stay home and start work on a paper on Ross Sea-West Antarctic earliest glaciation. This week, and part of next, I am working on the Santa Barbara Channel coring ...seismic reflection interpretations, figures, etc.
