You are correct with both points. I was trying to get a hit. But I was also trying to show Michael how easy it can be to cheat. The parameters I set for the prediction would be hard to beat. I will continue to cheat, but in smaller circles until I determine the limits at which one can cheat. This is kind of like trying to get by bomb sniffing dogs with a kilo of C4 plastic. I do think I will beat the odds with the Farmington prediction. I think it is a legitimate study.
