I'm not sure if this will help or not but back around 1985 or so I knew some folks at C.A.R.M.A. at Stanford. C.A.R.M.A. was an center for experimental and computer generated music. I don't know if it still exists but I assume it does. I can't remember what C.A.R.M.A. stands for but you could try contacting Stanford U.

There was somebody there who was looking at vibrations of buildings and structures, the Golden Gate Bridge comes to mind, and based computer generated music on the vibrations of the bridge. Someplace I have a CD but I doubt if I can find it now. If anyplace would have someone who could translate the vibrations of the Earth into something related to music (or could understand your question) I think that might be a place to check out.
