Re: Let's Give Shan Some Credit For Prediction the 7.6 in India |
Petra, I have gut feelings about earthquakes Petra... Just like others have eartones. I am not discounting the validity of these prediction methods. But let's face one thing right now. If you predict earthquakes, you dance on a stage before the world. Be ready, because the lead judge is Roger Hunter and he has a club ready to dong the gong...If you get by him, then you have John Vidale who will grease the slope of acceptance before the community of geo-physical science. They must do this as scientists. Hell, that is thier job. If I project an earthquake, it is my duty to let others know how and why I make such a projection. Any honest endeavor of science by ME, requires ME to make the conditions repeatable by others. Verifiable data. Repeatability. Known to all. Checked by others. Petra, can you give a track record for eartone earthquake predictions? I think there are some people who are very good at it. My biggest question is if I can hear these tones and I don't really know what it is I am hearing. Maybe I do. What is it that is heard? High pitched tones, or lower? I really want to try this. Your posts are always very informative. glen
