I am very interested to hear about the earthquake clouds you saw in Kobe before the 1995 quake. It would be helpful to see what one looks like...over the internet, I mean... to see one in real life would be a bit alarming, I think! When you first saw this cloud, did you know what it was? (Scary.)

If you ever find earthquake cloud photos online that resemble what you saw in Kobe, would you please post a link? Satellite, as you suggest, would probably not convey the image effectively, but hopefully now that so many people have camera phones, it is just a matter of time before we have such photos available over the internet.

I hope that Shou and his work find the needed support.
