How did I misinterpret Don's post? He clearly stated that the rock beneath the surface in the Bay Area had already fractured, and now we are just waiting for the resulting earthquake. All I wanted was an answer how that could be possible from a geological standpoint. Chris finally stepped up to the plate, but not before a lot of bad feelings went down, especially Don's "I think it's sad when ...." post. I guess you can't have a misunderstanding on this board without being insulted, even by someone you considered a friend. I might as well be on one of Berkland's boards. Geez.
