Steve Lyons on the weather channel gave a recent air pressure in Rita and it is no longer rising...may be falling a little again. More significant, it looked ragged on infrared satellite, esp. on west side, and cloud tops had warmed (meaning, not as high clouds), but in the last couple hours it looks much colder/more symmetric...looks like yesterday. The 5 PM eastern discussion on the nhc site should be interesting...
