Hi All,

The first article as to our state of preparedness has been released to the public and its rather upbeat. Apparently those who are responsible to take care of us after an earthquake feel they can do it provided lines of communication remain open and enough hospitals are still operational. Levee's could be a problem as they have not been strengthened which could result in flooding for Sacramento and Stockton.

As for personal preparedness a link is provided which outlines what should be in your home and auto EQ kits. And on the auto list they included "1 whistle". I would have preferred that they put that on the home list, especially for people who live in multi-story condo's or apartments.

Tomorrow they will release another story about "How Big Will the Big One Be."
