Hi Bob & Canie, I had a lucid dream a couple of months ago. As you know on their own, they are rare, but if you are in the midst of studying them, not so. In this dream I was sitting in a shawdow box asleep, the other me came up to the box and shook me by the shoulder and said, "its time to get going." I got out of the box and we started walking, she turned around and grabbed two sets of reading glasses and then we went on. We came to a place which I believe was in San Francisco. There was a cement walking bridge at street level and we were below. Extending down from the bridge was a plant that grew in long streams. We jumped up and started climbing these streams and at first it was quite easy, but nearing the top most difficult, but it was accomplished. In general climbing or going upward in any dream means things will improve, however here I saw for me a project I wished to accomplish and though it will start out easy, the true goal in the end will be difficult, but can be done. Works for me. As to having lucid dreams regarding earthquakes, I've never had any. I dream about them enough by normal means. Pat
