I was told German Brown, but never having caught one I can't say if they are or aren't. It didn't really matter anyway as that is such beautiful country that the view alone is worth going there.

After hunting a couple of days we would take a ride up to Mono Hot Springs for a well needed bath. One day I'm going up there again just to be there. Have to figure out a way to take extra gas with me. No gas stations in the area.
