John and I had a nice discussion recently about natural geysers and geothermal fields in regard to predictive abilities, which was kind of interesting.

Five years ago you probably wrote a paper about something. Perhaps you might want to talk about how you became interested in what you wrote about. What was the purpose of the paper and how did it serve to enhance the knowledge of geophysics? Not many people here are avid followers of what scientists publish unless it is something that is in the news currently, thus the selection of just about any topic would not interfere with your present work.
