Re: 5.6 down south! |
This is not normal for such a small quake. A 5.6 usually does not have anywhere near this many after shocks. Really, this quake was just a baby compared to Northridge. I do remember all those aftershocks then. I am beginning to think something bigger might be coming. It did take 4 days for the largest after shock to occur after the 1968 Borrego Mountain quake. That quake was a 6.5, and was much strong than this Anza quake. glen Follow Ups: ● Re: 5.6 down south! - SCSN Report - Canie 15:49:28 - 6/12/2005 (26366) (1) ● Re: 5.6 down south! - SCSN Report - glen 16:46:52 - 6/12/2005 (26367) (2) ● Re: 5.6 down south! - SCSN Report - Mary Antonelli 22:14:57 - 6/12/2005 (26370) (1) ● Re: 5.6 down south! - SCSN Report - Canie 22:57:10 - 6/12/2005 (26371) (0) ● tiny aftershocks - chris in suburbia 18:13:05 - 6/12/2005 (26368) (3) ● my mistake...lots of 2s - chris in suburbia 09:11:52 - 6/13/2005 (26377) (0) ● Re: tiny aftershocks - Cathryn 01:00:29 - 6/13/2005 (26372) (1) ● Re: tiny aftershocks - Cathryn 01:08:40 - 6/13/2005 (26373) (0) ● Laguna Salada - glen 19:29:34 - 6/12/2005 (26369) (0) |
