Yes the reason we are in for a dangerous fire season is because all this rain has stimulated massive brush growth on our hills and mountains. Its been absolutely stunning here driving through the Santa Monica Mountains, like being in Ireland.

Unfortunately this grass dries out in warm weather at the same speed regardless of how much grass. So now by July we are going to have a record level of heavy thick, dead fire fuel everywhere. Add in the Santa Anas, a very hot week with no humidity and several dry months (Say these conditions hit in October) and its going to be nasty.
