Hi Petra. I got out my Rodgers Creek fault map and located the fault in relation to where you live. You are about a mile maybe a little less west of the fault. It goes through Doyle Park so there is some open space for us to look at. Looking at the fault location on the map in relation to the streets I can’t help but feel that there are some people who live on top of the fault much in the same way there are people living on the Calaveras fault here in Hollister.

The other thing I noted is that it is very close to the fire department and the Memorial Hospital. That is the hospital located just to the north of where you live. That’s the one where the helicopter always goes to. Funny they should put both of their hospitals next to a fault. Wonder if they knew the fault was there?
