The Peninsular Ranges extends from South of Los Angeles into Baja. The Southern California Earthquake Center is working on faults in the Bay area...they are not part of the SCEC Community fault model. The USGS, or some other group, may have started on some sort of 3D representation for the Bay area. I reviewed a long paper with something like 100 cross sections across bay area and south of Bay area faults...3D representations could be made from these. Despite certain significant problems, this paper was going to published by a regional geologic group....it may be out by now...
