John, I didn't think science theories had a shelf life. Einstein's theory of relativity is still around so maybe in light of the two recent perfect Mogi's we should give the theory a modicum of credit. Now seriously, I think the off shore area down your way really needs some extra watching and if it should be that there is a larger quake where the 5.2 occurred, it would be the best possible outcome. And now that you're here I absolutely have to ask you if you would concur with David Schwartz opinion on the Rodgers Creek Fault timeline? From what I know, he is the only scientist in the Bay Area who has spent appreciable time studying the fault. I believe it was about 10 years ago when they did the detonations along the fault and I can still remember the news article said at the time that the RCF was different than other faults in that the seismic waves would travel up and down the fault like a "hot dog" rather than in a circle, like a "doughnut." I wonder what makes it different? As you were up here about that time, have you ever spent any time on top of my my fault?
