I hear ear tones everywhere. In the car, had a good one at the AGU a couple of years ago while waiting for the reception to begin and so forth. I don't have a strange head, nor do the other people in my ear tone group. LOL

You know it is said that the human being like everything else in the universe is a form of electric energy. Thus we vibrate. Maybe some of us are on a given frequency (more attunded to the earth) where we can tune into the planet and thus we hear those darned old earthquake faults breaking and shifting.

I've almost given up on the idea of ever understanding the why, except I think we hear ultra low frequency sounds. If you can imagine the ear tone group is like a network of instruments then I think that would be a good definition of what we do. We collect data and then try to make sense of it.
