At a workshop on Antarctic climate sampling in Denver 3 weeks ago a Program Director said that our efforts should communicate well to the public...in part because Imax theaters in the south were refusing to show the movie "volcanoes under the sea" because it discusses evolution (and probably the age of the earth). I was reminded of this last night because of the rerun of "The Daily Show" from Monday night made fun of this. I tried a google on this...and got among other things the link below. Hey...wake up everyone...this is really scary...very un-American
