Hi Petra. I don’t think the people will have much of problem with earthquake prediction. I think the biggest problem will be much the same as tsunami predictions. To many false one’s and the people start looking at them much in the same way as the boy who cried wolf one to many times.

You know from what we have seen the people of Hawaii are now going down to the beach to see the 4 inch tsunami, or a 10 inch one come in. The problem with that is that the next may be a 10 foot one. To many false earthquake predictions that when the real one occurs the people are going to be taken by surprise.

I think the people first have to understand that an earthquake is a thing of chaos and there is no such thing as a perfect earthquake prediction. Each prediction should be treated as the real thing, for it may very well be the real thing and then some. No one will knowingly make a prediction knowing that a quake will not occur. They have to know and believe that the person making the prediction truly believes the quake will occur. Take Care…Don in creepy town
