You might check some papers by Lucy Jones or Doug Dodge and Greg Beroza for foreshocks. John Rundle has some recent speculative work. Do you have a way to get articles from a science library, or a way to look up their papers? There are volumes of literature, but the usefulness of reading the seismicity patterns to foretell earthquakes is nearly nil at the moment.
