Nicobar Island and Ecuador |
If Roger is interested, it might be interesting to plot the occurence of Sumatra aftershocks, especially Nicobar Islands ones, say, larger than M5, together with occurence of M4.5 or larger quakes off the coast of Ecuador...where there was a M6 today...the Ecuador quakes are about 5 or 6 deg from the antipode of the far SE part of the mainshock rupture...although quite a bit farther from antipode of Nicobar Islands...
