I forgot to mention that Fraser-Smith was on the international committee that favorably evaluated the Japanese ULF-precursor project, and strongly urged that the government continue funding it. The government ignored this recommendation.

No explanation is offered as to why each second of tone indicates 37.5 miles of distance.

Their �g37.5 miles per second�h is NOT a �gsub-lightspeed velocity�h as John apparently called it in his {right way to start narrowing the options} post; it is simply an empirically derived method of calculation.
