Petra, you've got a research scientist at least curious (me), and you have a retired USGS seismologist evaluating you, not bad for an amateur scientist or whatever you are. Do it for ego for now, or writing practice, or exercises in critical thinking...these are all good things. Then we can see later if anyone is interested in working with your method....a long shot, but not impossible.
