Here is the quake I was referring to. The international date line prevents the quake that you were talking about from being the quake. If you compute the time for morning in China of the 26 it must be the following UTC time on the 26th.
The quake you cited happened before China's morning on the evening on the 25th.
The one that you cited was further west and south.
The quake the map referrence was below fits nicely into the map and location cited in the News article. I have been off the computer and this quake was posted sometime after I wrote this thread.
