Before everyone trashes Larry Park, I think you should be a little more giving. First, I like and respect him and he's helped me from time to time in confirming ULF activity in relationship to ear tones. Also and tantamount, we have NOT seen the actual warning. He has a window regarding earthquake activity, which he thinks might create another tsunami. If it was presented to them that there was a "window", then maybe those who received the warning went off half cocked. One should get the whole story before jumping to conclusions.

He may not be a credentialed scientist, but in the world of those who are lay-people and working hard on the answer in an intelligent way, he is that. If you had seen whatever it was before the earthquake by instrumentation and you started to see it again, then he.l be darned that almost anyone would have sent a warning. Though it was an interruption, better that than a dead interruption. Good Golly, those holier than thou, when its your turn are you going to step to the plate and save a life, or say you could have and didn't.

These days Jack Coles get more respect for his white noise on the radio than Larry who has invested heavily in instruments and time. I don't even know if Larry has ever issued a warning before.
