Chris - I used to post here back when. Now, I'm a ghostly hang-around - looking at the more scientific nature of what this great board has evolved into. Don't beat yourself up. Check out this story: http://207.44.245.159/article7569.htm I wonder if there is any validity to it. To withhold information because of an impact on the tourist industry is nothing short of sinister. So, you might have got the information out. It doesn't meant it would have got to where it needed to go. (Also, I understand that certain U.S. agencies knew of the onset tsunami well prior to its arrival.)
