Hi Chris - I think it is truly a problem - they always mess this stuff up - I know it even bothers me when there's misinformation on a show like CSI - I complained to CBS when they said some really poor geological stuff (like basalt only exists above 3,000 feet.. WHAT?) -

People do tend to believe what they see on the TV - if it's said - it must be true, right?

I think you have the credentials to make a complaint to the newstations.. or a letter to the editor..

I kinda feel jaded that they won't give it much thought.. but then again, if people who are educated in the matter don't complain, they'll never get it right...
