Don, I suspect that your catalogue is very incomplete even for M6 quakes, which makes it no use for stuff like this. The reason that I say this is that there are only 40 or 50 quakes listed and there should be several times this many per year. (NEIC lists 20 M7s/yr so there should be ~~200 M6s). From what you list there does not seem to be any burst of large quakes near the time of the Alaska quake....and there does not seem to be anything going on the last 2 days...so maybe there is no distant triggering of large quakes...and early June 2000 was a statistical fluke.
